Alexis and Jacob's First Christmas

The Tourtillott Twins celebrated their first Christmas last week. And yes, Santa was good to them, too good. Their parents did not go all out this year, geez, they are only 7 months old, how much do they enjoy or remember from this occasion? Jacob got a new carseat and shoes and Alexis got clothes and twin dolls from us. The following pictures are not in any order really, they just show the twins the last week.

But first let me introduce the newest member of the family...
our Wii. We are like the last family in the U.S. to get one, this was me and Adam's gift to eachother. He also got some tools he wanted and I got my Indiana Jones movies...what nerds we are.

This was Jake a couple nights ago in a new sleeper his aunt and uncle got him. What a happy boy he has turned out to be! We don't miss newborn Jacob much, this Jacob is much more pleasant.

Of course both babies enjoyed the wrapping paper more than the actual gifts on Christmas day. Here is Alexis enjoying someone's left over paper.

Here is the twins at my aunt and uncles house in Ottawa. My cousins are helping them sit up while they played with their cousin, Mason's Christmas gift. They really liked this thing, so I went and got it for them a couple days later. Big mistake on my part, I didn't realize it made so much noise! I am not a fan of music-making-toys/educational things.

Here is Jake and Alexis with their cousin's Kendall and Mason. This was their last stop of the day and they were troopers. They were good babies here and enjoyed seeing the Wiltse side of the family. As always, we had good food and good company!

Here is Alexis on Christmas morning at our house. She is holding her twin newborns, that we originally called Jacob and Alexis.

Jacob wearing an antler/headband that Adam bought a couple of years ago for a Christmas party.

Alexis the night before Christmas in her 'My First Christmas' sleeper.

The babies asleep on Christmas Eve.

Here they are at the Tourtillott's Christmas morning.

Jacob getting his circus train!

Alexis and I with her Dora the Explorer's twin brother and sister.

Lastly, the twins sitting our Santa's lap at their grandparent's Christmas party a couple of weeks ago. Poor Jacob does not look too happy, while Alexis looks pretty content. The mystery Santa is actually their Grandfather!

We still don't have a Wiii : ( Maybe next year. The twins, I mean babies (hehe) are getting soooo big. They are just beautiful. I can't wait to see them this Spring, but hopefully sooner. It was wonderful talking to you last night. Love you!
